    Feature list
is probably the most advanced virtual camera available. It fully embraces a photograhic approach having just the same parameters you find in any real camera. With aperture, shutter speed, ISO and whitepoint you are in control of the basic camera features. It comes with a 2D autofocus system based on the render image (you'll find also a slot where to attach a 3D locator), and the iris aperture is fully tweakable both with a custom image and parametrically. It comes also with an integrated photographic tonemapper.
Last but not least, it features a thick lens implementation. A thin lens is the usual camera with DOF. A thick lens instead simulates a full lens system. So you get automagic lens deformations, vignetting and lens breathing when focusing. It works with both Standard and Progressive mental ray render modes. It sports also sensor response functions and LUTs so no more washed out results as with gamma alone. And a deformation engine is cooming very soon.

Photographic approach

as the camera is setup like a real camera, with f/stop, shutter speed, ISO and whitepoint. Tweak your realistic renderings or integrate easily CGI into real footage. There're also parameters to tweak the camera artistically.

Easy tonemapping

with added saturation, contrast, blacks and whites controls together with sensor response color functions so your renderings will never look washed out again plus you can match the color profile of your devices.

Feature-rich bokeh

so you can choose between various iris apertures, control the number of blades and their angle, the border can also be tweaked for a more realistic bokeh, and if that don't fit, you can always choose an image to better resemble your aperture.

Fast natural DOF

thanks to our adaptive sampling depth of field is very fast and natural for super realistic renderings.

Thick lens implementation

is practically a raytraced lens system. Get automagic lens deformations, vignetting and lens breathing when focusing. You can choose between various lens designs or even add your own.
